Life is nothing more that how you live it. Public image can play a heavy tole. I carry a big scar emotionally and physically from where I have been and that will always be a part of who I am today. Embrace every moment and live life for YOU. Dont by in to peoples opinions and dont give up chasing you dreams. Do YOU and YOU will always be just fine.

I figured I would share my opinion on this.
First off, this song is about a 3 year old boy named Ronan who died of cancer. Taylor Swift had read a blog post posted by Ronan’s mother, and felt so strongly about what she had read, she decided to write a song for it, and perform it at Stand Up To Cancer, which was shown on TV tonight. His mother is co writer for this song.
So. This song is so beautiful, and I think it really hits home with a lot of people. The lyrics are so strong; you can truly visualize the desperate hope as this strong, beautiful little boy fought and fought and then the agonizing sadness after he had gone away…
The thing is, you can tell this is something Taylor is truly passionate about, and she really cares. In the performance, she looked as if shew as about to cry all through when she was singing. I think it made it that more emotional, and made people realize this is something so horrifyingly real, it’s something that’s not going to go away until we do something about it.
This song….just made me feel a lot of things.
And it’s why I think we all need to do our part and buy the song, not download it off the internet. All the proceeds go to cancer-related charities, so please, if you can, buy it off iTunes.

This non-profit organization is truly amazing. They have done so much for children with cancer and blood diseases in the past months since their creation. I was one of these patients!

How can you get involved? Refer celebrities musicians, actors, etc. who would be interested in visiting with patients in the hospital, holding meet/greets outside of the hospital, video conferencing or sending things to patients in crisis. (We are working to establish a “Celebrity Bureau.”) Donate tickets to local events. Donate toys, craft and art supplies, DVDs, magazine subscriptions, Lego sets, video games and accessories, new board games, etc. Drop off new items at Peoples First Savings Bank locations in Mason and Morrow, OH.
